How we actually work
DreamDestination was founded by Rajesh Tiwari. Four things about how it works are worth knowing before you decide whether to talk to us. Two of them are the reason students come to us; the other two are the reason some students should go elsewhere.
We are not a lender, and not a lending agent
We take no commission from any bank or NBFC, and we charge nothing for education loan guidance. That means we have no reason to steer you towards one lender over another, and no rate to quote you — the amount, the interest rate, the collateral requirement and the approval itself are the lender's decisions, always.
One counsellor carries the whole file
Course choice, admission, funding and the visa are one connected problem. The university's fee structure sets the loan amount; the loan sanction letter is what your visa financial evidence rests on. Splitting those across separate agencies is where deadlines usually slip, so the same person handles all four.
Loans for courses in India, not only abroad
Plenty of students are joining an Indian college rather than going overseas, and that is a different product with different rules. PM-Vidyalaxmi is collateral-free and guarantor-free but covers Indian institutions only — foreign institutions are excluded entirely. We check which of the two routes you are on before anything is submitted.
We work online, across India
Counselling, document review and application support all run over video and email. That is why a student in a smaller town gets the same support as one in a metro, and why there is no travel cost attached to a first conversation. The first consultation is free and carries no obligation.
What we will not tell you
A good deal of study abroad marketing consists of numbers nobody can check. We would rather be the firm that publishes fewer claims than the firm that publishes better ones. So you will not find any of the following on this site:

- ×How fast a bank will approve your file
- ×A visa or admission success percentage
- ×A count of universities we are 'partnered' with
- ×A student testimonial we did not receive
Where this site does publish a figure — the PM-Vidyalaxmi terms, the Section 80E rules, a state government scheme — it names the source and the date it was checked, and where a state scheme could not be verified from a public source, the page says exactly that instead of estimating. Students borrow money against this information.
